Fidelithon Systems™, LLC, a cloud computing leader in Mobile Device Management (MDM) for consumer and small and medium businesses (SMBs), announced new pricing and purchasing capabilities within its Pro and Personal versions of gMelt™, providing industry-leading value and convenience for managing mobile device-related content and assets. Updated versions of gMelt phone manager provide purchasing through the respective app stores as well as in-app purchasing and upgrade capabilities through the mobile device. Previous versions required purchasing only through a separate web portal. gMelt is supported on Android™ phones and tablets, as well as Apple®’s iOS for iPhone™, iPad™, and iPod Touch™. Pricing is effective immediately, with in-app capabilities available now for iOS devices. Android-based devices will support in-app purchases and upgrades in November.
New pricing for the apps start at $1.99 for gMeltPersonal™, providing robust management of two mobile devices and $2.99 for gMeltPro™, providing management for up to 100 devices and includes device tracking and remote “wipe” of data, among other capabilities (platform dependent). Options for increased cloud storage of device information are available, for up to 256GB in capacity. The gMeltPro or gMeltPersonal app is used in conjunction with a web-based management console that gives people and businesses the capability for smartphone back-up, restoring, and secure file sharing and management of user-created content, including personal information management (PIM) data, such as contacts, dictionaries and alarms. Items stored in the virtual gMeltCloud™ are accessible and downloadable from any location through the app or a browser-enabled device where an internet connection is available. gMelt can be used as a cloud-based virtual hard drive for computers as well.
